What's covered, what's not, and how to file a claim. The warranty specific to your cover is emailed when you register.

When you register your cover, the warranty document for your cover is attached to your confirmation email. Save that email — it's the authoritative warranty for your cover. The page below is a general overview that applies to every PSP safety cover.
What's Covered
PSP Fabricating Inc. warrants its pool safety covers to the original end user against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, for the term specified in the warranty document emailed at registration.
Coverage Extends To:
- Defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use
- Mesh or solid vinyl fabric (UV-treated, polyester-reinforced)
- Heavy-duty polyester webbing and straps
- Brass anchors and stainless steel springs
- Reinforced stitching, D-rings, and corner hardware
Exclusions
This Warranty Does Not Cover:
- Animals, wildlife, or pets
- Fire, vandalism, theft, or natural disasters
- Falling objects, including sharp objects such as tree limbs
- Snow or ice loads exceeding the cover's rated capacity
- Standing water resulting from improper drainage or anchor placement
- Chemical damage from pool water that is out of balance (low pH, high chlorine, low calcium hardness)
- Foot traffic or use of the cover as a walkable surface
- Improper anchor seating, anchor wear, or anchor maintenance — anchor maintenance is the deck owner's responsibility, not PSP's
- Normal wear and tear, including fading of vinyl or thread from UV exposure over the life of the cover
- Seam separation or strap detachment resulting from mishandling
- Mishandling during installation, removal, or off-season storage
- Transport damage from dealer to purchaser
- Alteration, modification, or unauthorized repair
- Misuse, improper installation, or use of the cover on a pool for which it was not specifically designed
Warranty Void Conditions
The Warranty Is Void If Any Of The Following Occur:
- The pool's water level drops below 18 inches from the top of the deck during snow season
- The cover is installed on a pool for which it was not specifically designed
- The product label is removed or damaged — a label photo is required for every claim
- The cover is used for commercial, rental, or unsupervised public access
- The cover is installed or altered by anyone other than the original dealer or an authorized installer
- The cover is modified after manufacture
How to File a Claim
If you believe your cover has a defect covered under warranty, here's what happens:

Register your cover within 30 days of purchase
Register at pspfab.com/warranty/registration within 30 days of your purchase date. This activates your coverage and links your serial number to your contact info. Covers that aren't registered within that window aren't covered under this warranty.

Gather what you'll need
Photo of the product label (with the serial number visible), original purchase receipt, and a minimum of three photos of the issue from different angles. For anchor or installation-related issues, include photos of the deck and anchor seats.

File at pspfab.com/warranty/claim
Submit the form with your serial number and the photos above. We'll respond within 2 business days and may request additional photos or an in-person inspection.

Repair or replacement
If the claim is approved, PSP will repair or replace the cover according to the warranty terms emailed to you at registration. The purchaser is responsible for return shipping and for outbound freight from our Barrie, Ontario facility.
